A Local Festival for Slow Days

For slow days, we just stick close by, head to the local matsuri, and let the kids line up for 40 minutes to get a 5 minute jump in the giant bear.

These fun ppl were using a hollow aluminum stick, with paper made into the shape of a mini-cone, then shoved into the closer end of the stick, and kids would blow the mini-cone out to pop the balloons. Successful children would get one Umaibo.
But when Kenji and Deryk did it, they realized that they had run out of stock, so someone went running to the store to buy more. Instead, they got balloon swords. lol!

Billiards

Karaoke is not my thing. I can't sing for beans. But billiards and darts--I think I found my cue

Athletic Park

My fellow Leo getting more athletic.

Deryk's opportunity for older brother

Othello. Ray and Deryk against me. As I start to win, Deryk takes over and gloats over possible victory. But when he realizes that the table turns back in Ray's favor he quickly gives it back to me.
Latest lesson among many--not to be such a terrible sport.

Mental check. When I have 4 kids and I come home to a bunch of energetic children, instead of letting them out-do me, I'll let the Wii kick in.

Eating Mexican at Sam and Leika's house.

Baby's interpret almost anything as play. Any sort of attention that is harmless, even a repetitive tonking on the head becomes funny.

Annual Gakudo Undokai

On Saturday all the representatives of different Gakudo's in Noda city got together for an Undokai. This is different from the annual Elementary school Undokai that takes place in May.

It's what all brother's do

I'm somewhere in there about to play Tug-of-War
