When It Rains, It Pours

When you've been waiting for the weekend Monday through Friday, but it arrives and it's a mad downpour, take out your raincoat, boots, and umbrella, and go out anyway. Letting your kids drive you wild at home is not an option.

Saying that, I'm just a lazy husband sitting at home munching on a Snicker bar recovering from a week of work. lol! But it's true

Thank you, babe, for taking the kids out in this awful weather.

Sep.9th--Barbeque at Showa Park

The kids played in the shallow water (amazing how they get drenched from head to toe in ankle-deep water) while the adults played futsal.
Now that all of us work five to six days a week, stamina runs low on the weekends. Red meat and beer really did the churning in our stomachs as well. After about 30 minutes under the heat of the sun most of us were panting for breath if not totally exhausted. Suddenly the little energetic kids were blocking our shots, swiping the ball from between our legs, and dribbling the ball past us.  Plus, of course, it was just a playful tussle.
